AT&T is making changes to its Autopay discount policy, requiring customers to use a bank account for the full discount. Previously, users could get the same benefit with a credit card, but that option is being phased out.

Starting soon, only customers who link a checking account or debit card will qualify for the maximum discount on their monthly bill. AT&T states that this move aims to streamline transactions and reduce processing fees. However, some users are expressing concerns over reduced payment flexibility and security risks associated with providing bank details.

Customers who continue to pay with credit cards will still be able to use Autopay, but they will receive a smaller discount than those using bank accounts. AT&T advises customers to check their billing statements to see how this change affects them.
