New Delhi is playing host to a major global event as the Global Technology Summit 2025 kicked off today, April 10. The summit, which will run until April 12, brings together tech leaders, policymakers, researchers, and innovators from around the world.

The event was inaugurated by India's External Affairs Minister, S. Jaishankar, who emphasized the importance of international collaboration in shaping future technologies. During his address, Jaishankar highlighted how technology has become a key driver of both economic development and diplomatic relations.

The summit aims to facilitate high-level discussions on emerging technologies, cybersecurity, digital public infrastructure, and India's role in global tech policy. Key sessions will focus on AI, quantum computing, data protection, and innovation in public services.

Organized in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs and think tank Carnegie India, this annual event has grown into one of the leading platforms for technology diplomacy in the region.

With India continuing to position itself as a major tech hub, the summit is expected to shape global partnerships and provide insight into the country's digital ambitions.
